Min Pae is a visual artist, focused mainly on tattooing and illustration. Raised in the Dish With One Spoon treaty territory around T'karonto. She is a settler on Turtle Island as a both descendant of french colonials and displaced asian peoples through the US-Euro-Japanese imperial efforts of the 1900s. Her work explores the disorienting journey of grieving dismembered cultural roots, growing new ones, and finding our place within someone else’s homelands.

She explores cultural imagery stemming from a reconnection with Korean (동포), Chinese (Cantonese), and Queer (Transsexual) visuo-form, ritual, and community. Often reprocessing elements from her mixed ancestry into new shapes and feelers for probing across the ever estranging landscape of the present day.

Currently she resides on the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh, aka. "vancouver, bc".
